  1. Being someone that likes to trick it with hand and speed getting balls that are usable for long periods of time are ideal

  2. The Rogue Assassin is good but I prefer the Venom Rocoil for the way I throw and my rev rate. They’re both really nice bowling balls

  3. How about the motiv villain scorn? What would you rate on this one or how do you think that it works for people who like motiv?

    1. Honestly I think any ball can work. The balls I selected I feel will work better for more people in general.

  4. Good video I’m about to drill a tank rampage I bought for 70 bucks. Then I might get that idol pro

    1. James Allen storm/roto grip is all I use now. I’ve tried them all from Lane1 to Brunswick to Ebonite to Hammer…

    2. Trauma I kinda lean toward dv8 Brunswick and hammer…but I love my storm Optimus solid…I wish I could have every ball lol

    3. I never used DV8.  Isn’t that Brunswick?  I have a Brunswick Fury and Hammer Black Widow.  But I stay within the same line now.  I tried to mix when I was younger but ended up with a bunch of high performance balls from different companies.  My current league lineup is: Crux Prime (buying now), Wreck It, Pitch Black, Spare Ball.

    4. Most I go to promote Brunswick/Radical/DV8. Closest shop to me has about 15 different balls from those three companies and only a one or two storm and roto grips.

  5. I just got the iq emerald a couple mths ago avg went up about 15 pins just under 200 to go along with the roto grip halo vision and my urethane storm fever pitch with is also a pretty good urethane ball. Luv ur vids btw. Keep up the good wrk.

  6. Great video, I bought the Storm IQ Tour Emerald last summer, my benchmark ball. Also, the pro shop has the Motiv T10 ball in there, buy it – no longer being made, it was a limited edition ball with great reviews.

  7. Good stuff here, I remember listening to Chris Barnes talk about arsenals and he referred to “80%ers” meaning get two balls you can use 80% of the time and build from there. The idol pro and emerald fit that mold.

  8. would any of these balls you liked be good for a bowler who has a slow speed? ie i throw around 10-11mph tops. just wondering.

  9. I can’t believe you didn’t mention the Storm Super SoniQ, I had all my equipment stolen so I could only get one ball so after a lot of research I decided to go with that ball mind you one of the balls that was stolen by those scumbags was a Storm SoniQ and in my opinion this ball blows that ball out of the water… great video with some great balls.

  10. I have the katana dragon. It doesn’t hook as much as I thought it would. I am a left handed. I am looking for another ball to add to my collection.

  11. 100% recommend the roto grip idol pro the last 1.5 months since I finally figured out how to throw it I bowled my first sanctioned 300 and have been averaging 230 with it.

    1. This is glorious, I have been researching “how many strikes do you need to bowl a 200?” for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about – Piylivern Remarkable Predominance – (should be on google have a look ) ? It is a great one off guide for discovering how to up your bowling game quickly minus the headache. Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my cousin got cool success with it.

  12. So I’m 12 and am bowling a 9 pound still (sadly) and want to get my next ball I have now a Columbia 300 spare ball and really want a hook ball. Any suggestions?
